TOURIST VISA

This type of visa will be issued to applicants who wish to enter the Kingdom of Thailand for tourism purposes only.
Note: Applicants who would like to stay in Thailand longer than 3 months  should apply for Non-immigrant visa. More information, please click here.

Validity of visa and Period of stay
Validity: One/Single entry tourist visa is valid for 3 months.
Two/Three entries tourist visa is valid for 3 months.

Period of stay: Travelers with this type of visa will be permitted to stay in Thailand for a period not exceeding 60 days per EACH entry, begin on the first date of arrival in Thailand. Please note that the visa must be used before the "Enter Before" date which is written on the visa page.

Extension of stay
For the traveler who obtained tourist visa and wish to stay longer or may wish to change their visa type must fill an application for permission at the nearest immigration office where they are staying. (http://www.immigration.go.th/) The extension of stay should be done one week before the last permitted date mentioned on the immigration 's stamp in your passport. The extension of stay as well as the change of certain type of visa is solely at the discretion of the Immigration officer.

Required documents:

1. A Passport or Travel Document (validity of not less than 6 months on the arrival date in Thailand and contain 
at least ONE completely empty visa page)
Important: An original passport must be submitted when applying for a visa. If you send application via post, please enclose your passport. Visa cannot be processed without the passport. Everyone must have their own passport when applying for a visa regardless of their ages.

2. A copy of Passport (The page(s) that shows your photo, name, date and place of birth and the expiration date
of passport)

3. A Completed and signed visa application form. (Completed and signed by the applicant.)  Children must have their own visa application and the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must sign the form on the child's behalf Click here to download.

4. Visa fee 30 € for each entry. Maximum: 3 entries. There is no multiple entries. Visa fee must be paid in cash. If you send an application by post, please enclose the fee inside an envelope.

5. 2 recent color passport photographs, 3.5 x 4.5 cm, front-view, must be taken within the last 6 months.

6. Evidence of travel to Thailand such as a copy of e-ticket or package holidays in English or Finnish.(Paid in full).
If you wish to obtain 2 or 3 entries, please note that you must show all full paid flight tickets /package holidays entering Thailand for every entry. We do not accept airlines staff card , stand by/open flight ticket.

7. A recent evidence of adequate finance in English or Finnish. At least 500 euros per person and 1,000 euros per family. In case that applicants submit the applications as a family and share the same evidence of financial  income please provide an Extract from Population System in Finnish or English language from Notary Public .

8. If applied by mail, please send an application at least 3 weeks in advance. We do not have a telephone or e-mail answering service for your visa status.

- Residents in Finland: please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope with sufficient postage for the
return of passport. We do not accept cash or a meter stamp as payment for postal fee.
- Residents in Estonia: Return envelope fee is 10 euros. Please  also enclose a self-address envelope. (We
