LIST OF COUNTRIES FOR ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS
Additional Requirements
Passport holders from the countries below are required to submit the additional documents:

1. A Passport or Travel Document (validity of not less than 6 months on the arrival date in Thailand and contain at least ONE completely empty visa page) Important: An original passport must be submitted when applying for a visa. If you send application via post, please enclose your passport. Visa cannot be processed without the passport.
2. 3 copies of Passport or Travel Document (The page(s) that shows your photo, name, date, and place of birth and the expiration date of passport.)
3. 3 application forms (Completed and signed by the applicant. For children, the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must sign the form on the child's behalf). Click here to download.
4. 3 recent color passport photographs, 3.5 x 4.5 cm, front-view, must be taken within the last 6 months.
5. 3 copies of valid Finnish visa/residence permit.
6. 3 copies of airline tickets (confirmed onward ticket to the third country – showing flights into and out of Thailand . Either paper ticket or confirmed e-ticket is acceptable).
7. 3 copies of hotel reservation in Thailand /or an original invitation letter from guarantor in Thailand explaining your relationship with them and the purpose of your visit and his/her Thai Identity Card or Thai passport photocopy.
8. One original and 2 copies of letter from applicant's employer; if applicant is a student please include a confirmation letter from the school, college, or university. The document must be in English.
Note: In case that an applicant is unemployed or not a student, the folowing documents must be submitted:
8.1 a letter from your guarantor in Thailand or Finland explaining your relationship with them and the purpose of your visit. Your guarantor must confirm that he/she can take responsibilities for your financial expenses during your stay in Thailand.
8.2 a copy of their passport or ID card. (must be certifed true copied with signature)
8.3 copy of their bank statements in English/Finnish/Thai,showing that they have enough money to support you.
9. One original and 2 copies of applicant’s recent bank statement. (reflect at least 500 € per person, 1,000 € per family) The document must be in English.
10. If applied by mail , a self-addressed stamped envelope with sufficient postage of 5 € - 7 € for the return of passport. More information for updated postal fee please check with www.posti.fi
11. Please submit the application before travel date at least 4 weeks.
12. Consular officers reserve the rights to request for additional documents as deemed necessary and also reserve the right to reject any application without having to provide reason.
Visa Fee: Fee: 30 € for a Single entry. We accept cash only. Applicant can apply only for single entry. There is no multiple entries for tourist visa. (Visa fee may be changed without prior notice.) Visa Processing Time: Please submit the application before travel date at least 4 weeks. Visa Opening/Collecting hour: Monday-Friday between 9.00-12.00. Closed on Thai and Finnish Publish holidays. Please check our holidays list before visiting.
Validity of visa and Period of stay Validity: One/Single entry tourist visa is valid for 3 months. Period of stay: Travelers with this type of visa will be permitted to stay in Thailand for a period not exceeding 60 days per EACH entry, begin on the first date of arrival in Thailand. Please note that the visa must be used before the "Enter Before" date which is written on the visa page.
