Visa fees adjustment:
The Royal Thai Embassy hereby announces that, effective 2 August 2010, visa fees will be adjusted corresponding to the changes of exchange rate. Please click here for further information.

Visa service for Thai citizens:
Please be informed that the Royal Thai Embassy, Helsinki does not consider or process visa for Thai citizens comming to Finland. The Embassy also cannot giving any advices concerning this matter. All related visa enquires must be directed to Finnish Embassy, Bangkok. www.finland.or.th

Visa fee exemption:
Please note also that all foreigners who apply for Tourist Visa at the Royal Thai Embassies and the Royal Thai Consulates-General worldwide, including eligible foreigners who apply for Visa on Arrival at designated checkpoints, will be exempted from Tourist Visa fee from 11 May B.E. 2553 (2010) to 31 March B.E. 2554(2011). Passport validity
Travelers who wish to travel to Thailand, please make sure that you are in procession of a passport valid for at least 6 months upon arrival.

Visa Processing Time:
Applying in person:- Applications will be processed within 3 days. (For example, if you apply a visa on Monday morning , your visa will be ready on Wednesday morning.)
Collection date for visa is specified on a payment receipt. Always bring the receipt and ID card when collecting a visa.
Applying through travel agents or representatives:- Applications will be processed within 7 days. (For example, if you apply a visa on Monday morning your clients visa will be ready on the following Monday morning.)
Applying by mail:- Application are usually processed approximately within 3 days. (not including mailing time) If you are applying visa for more than 5 passports, visa will be processed approximately within 7 days. If you would like to collect passport by yourself, please inform in writen.
Note:Do not apply visa more than 2 months in advance.
Countries which require additional documents, please submit the application well in advance.
Please check all required documents before submitting visa application. If you fail to
provide all necessary documents or intentionally submit false /invalid documents
your visa application will be refused.
